Operating principles of fluorescent lamps are described and three main systems for supplying power as applied to public service vehicles are detailed; 60/70-v d-c system; motor alternator system; vibrator system; lighting and power systems are result of combined developments by C.A.V. and Siemens Electric Lamps and Supplies Ltd.
