Two similar passenger liners Mozambique and Angola, are being built by Swan, Hunter and Wigham Richardson, and Hawthorn, Leslie and Co, respectively, for Companhia Nacional de Navegacao, Lisbon; length oa 550 ft; breadth molded 67 ft; speed 18 knots; propelled by two Doxford twin screw, opposed piston, 6-cyl engines with 670 mm diam and combined stroke of 2320 mm, each developing 6000 bhp at 115 rpm.
