2300-Ton, 19-knot motor ship, designed primarily for passengers and motor vehicles, with limited space for cargo and livestock, under construction at Wm Denny and Bros. yard, Dumbarton, for LMSR; length bp 305 ft 6 in.; breadth molded 48 ft; depth molded 16 ft 6 in.; propelled by two Sulzer 7-cyl, 2-stroke, trunk piston Diesel engines with bore of 480 mm and stroke of 700 mm, developing total of 5100 bhp at 265 rpm.
