Follis, built for Standard Oil Co of California at Sun Shipbuilding Co, Chester, Pa; length oa 459 ft 7 in.; beam molded 65 ft; depth molded 35 ft; propulsion plant is of steam geared turbine type with semi-closed feed water system; two Babcock and Wilcox water tube boilers supply steam at 450 psi and 750 F to General Electric cross-compound turbine connected to propeller shafting through General Electric double reduction helical gearing.
