Detailed account of radar set developed by Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co, which consists essentially of three units, console, transmitting unit, and aerial unit; it occupies so little space that it can be fitted in all oceangoing ships, and even in comparatively small coasting craft, without causing inconvenience; only other items of equipment are motor-alternator set, together with warning unit.
