General Electric Company's electronic navigator for passenger and merchant ships described; it can detect position of any above-water obstacle through darkness, fog and storm to distance of 30 mi, and relay object's position to ship's skipper on viewing screen inside wheelhouse; it is composed of three main parts, rotating antenna atop pilot house, viewing console on which radar picture is presented to navigator and motor alternator.
