By including spring switches at all 22 principal sidings, Central of Georgia installation of automatic block signaling on 120 mi of single track between Columbus, Ga, and Sterrett, Ala, increases safety and effects maximum saving in train time for this form of signaling; signaling installation illustrated and described.
