Two engines introduced in Great Britain are 4-cyl, 99 cu in. engine with distributor pump and high maximum speed, and single cylinder, loop scavenge, 2-stroke, built largely in light alloy, with automatic inlet valve; both are finding their first application in agricultural plant; first is manufactured by F.Perkins Ltd; second, being built by Drayton Diesels Ltd, under license, is German Stihl range.
