Newly completed drydock ship construction basin at Quincy, Mass, is three position graving dock for simultaneous construction of three to six vessels; new basin is 900 ft long and 450 ft wide, and supplements three conventional "sliding" ways capable of handling ships up to 1000 ft in length.
