New drydock of Silley, Cox and Co is 850 ft long; width between walls is 136 ft and width at entrance 130 ft; traversing bilge blocks are adjustable in position and height to suit all classes of ships; accommodation is provided for vessels up to 85,000 tons dw, and larger ships with low length-to-depth ratio of suitable breadth.
