Feasibility of launching space vehicle directly from ship, socalled Astronautic Ship; in particular, steady-state dynamic loads in spacecraft and its erector tower when they are mounted vertically on ship, ready to launch, are analyzed; input forces considered are those due to wind, sinusoidal vibration due to propeller excitation; C-4, Mariner class cargo ship was used for study; basic hull (563 ft 7 3/4 in. in length oa) would be used, while superstructure and necessary below-deck equipment would be modified.
