Paper presents equations, and estimates of accuracy of these equations, from which resistance and propulsion factors at fractions of design load draft may be estimated from values measured on model at load draft; in use of factors, it is also necessary to know displacement and wetted surface at fractional draft, and equations are included for estimating them when full hydrostatic curves are not available.
