Data playback, manual reduction and analysis techniques, automatic system to be used for future analysis, and examples of some forms of presentation of long-term trends; useful data were obtained on over 85% of voyages representing 3 ship-yr of operation of C-4 dry cargo vessel on North Atlantic trade routes; 2 complete voyages were analyzed using manual techniques and results are given; maximum observed peak-to-peak variation of wave induced stress was 8300 psi which occurred during Beaufort 11-12 Sea.
