New 22,000 dw tanker Paul Endacott is capable of carrying 5 LPG products at once; refrigerated tanks enable liquefied gas to be transported at atmospheric pressure, allowing substantial reduction in weight of cargo tank steel and corresponding gain in payload capacity; tanker has all-welded hull (incorporating compulsory riveted crack arrestors) and is strengthened for navigation in ice; 5 refrigerated storage tanks will hold their liquid cargo at -51 C in case of propane.
