Among important aspects is provision of adequate control power to meet all required operating conditions; 3 basic sources of energy from which control power may be obtained are from lifting or propulsion systems, and motion of craft which may be used to produce aerodynamic or hydrodynamic forces; these sources, and control power requirements are discussed; summary of some operational achievements of SR.N2 is given, and reference is also made to operating economics and lift/drag ratio of this type of vehicle.
