Information on designs developed by Vosper Ltd and Vickers-Armstrongs Ltd for anti-submarine, anti-aircraft and patrol tasks; Mark I corvette is of all welded hull, 177 ft long and displacing 435 tons; it is designed with twin shafts and powered by two Bristol Siddeley Maybach diesel engines which will yield anticipated 20-knot top speed; armament arrangements are also described; main dimensions and plan are shown, notes are given on Mark II and on advanced design projected by Vosper known as "High Speed Corvette".
