Design and specification of relays for aircraft and missiles are governed by following standards, Mil-R-6106C (Amendment 1) and Mil-R-5757D; paper analyzes these and suggests changes, especially in test requirements, that would bring them into line with needs of systems applications; requirement-by-requirement tabulation of 2 specifications and review of specified minimum current tests.
