Engine service analyzer was developed in connection with work on diesel fuels; apparatus is transportable and powered by batteries; it is connected to vehicle by 3 transducers measuring engine revolutions, distance traveled and fuel consumed; synchronous motor is incorporated to provide time signals; information is punched on paper tape which may be fed directly into computer for analysis; although designed for diesel engined vehicles, equipment could, in principle, be used with gasoline engine.
