In 1953 General Motors Corp started Training Center Program which led to construction and equipping of 30 training centers across nation at points of greatest dealer and vehicle population; average center contains 9 shop classrooms, each equipped to work on entire vehicle with latest repair tools and test equipment; average class contains only 6 students; about 80% of time is spent in practical work and 20% is classroom work in theory, tracing power or oil flow, or electrical circuits; other details.
