Sixty ft diesel hydraulic railcars with driving cab at one end are designed to work over steep and flat lines in tropical heat and humidity, and with bad seasonal rail conditions; railcar is powered by Rolls-Royce C6TFLH turbo-charged horizontal diesel engine developing 315 bhp top output at 2100 rpm from 6 130-mm by 152 mm cylinders; electropneumatic control system with incorporation of safety devices.
