Design details of 2 90° V-diesel engines with oversquare bore to stroke ratio which permitted incorporation of maximum displacement within given package and permitted operation at higher rotative speeds while staying well under usual limits in bmep and piston speeds; V6-200 model is 200-hp 6-cyl, naturally aspirated, V type diesel with 588 cu in. displacement; model V8-265 is same except that it has 8 cylinders; it has piston displacement of 785 cu in.; interchangeability of parts provides considerable standardization of parts inventories for fleets using both 200 and 265 hp sizes.
