Bienvenue is first of new type of small steel trawler, and was built by Marine Industries; vessel is of usual dragger form with wheelhouse and accommodation in superstructure aft, whale-back forecastle and extra crew accommodation in forward compartment; length 78 ft, breadth molded 22 ft, depth molded 11 ft 6 in., fishroom capacity 5000 cu ft; B and W-Alpha type 404-VO main engine develops 280-310 bhp; plan.
