Built by Calumet Shipyard and Drydock Co, South Chicago; length 150 ft; beam 35 ft; depth molded 10 ft; draft 7 ft; propelled by two Superior Diesel engines, each developing 1000 hp at 275 rpm; vessel is capable of handling upstream push of 10,000 tons or downstream barge train of 20,000 tons.
