Paper describes present role of aeronautical engineer in Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) with particular reference made to training schemes under which engineer may join RCAF; advanced engineering courses are available for senior engineering officers where cross training is required; responsibilities of engineering officer in unit employment, Command Headquarters Air Material Command, Central Experimental and Proving Establishment and Canadian Forces Headquarters are outlined.
