Analysis of fleet maintenance activity and fleet maintenance equipment around world is based on series of four surveys conducted over 14 mo period, latest of which is discussed in detail; paper reports on maintenance activities, maintenance equipment, and parts purchasing patterns of 150 motor vehicle fleets in 32 foreign countries; details of operations of these fleets, and their vehicle purchasing patterns, are reported in SAE -- Paper 975A, previously indexed; related information regarding world motor vehicle registrations, manufacture and exports are included in appendix.
