Laminar flow, which involves multicomponent diffusion and relatively accurate transport properties is considered; thus similar boundary layer with hydrogen injection and with chemical behavior idealized according to flame sheet model is treated; it is found that present analysis predicts boundary-layer behavior that is significantly different from that given by analyses with simple transport; accuracy of existing analyses involving species with spectrum of molecular weights and employing assumption of simple transport properties appears doubtful.
