Vessel of 25,950 tons (metric) displacement is being built for Gesellschaft fuer Kernenergieverwertung in Schiffbau u Schiffahrt mbH; Kieler Howaldtswerke yard is responsible for traditional part of ship, including turbine installation, but excluding reactor; CF advanced design of pressurized reactor with integral heat exchanger (Babcock and Wilcox/Interatom) was selected, and main data are shown in table; ship length oa 171.8 m, beam 23.4 m, depth to main deck 14.5 m, design draft 9.2 m, cargo space 13,400 cu m, trial speed 15.75 knots; ship and reactor outline diagrams are included.
