Paper discusses various aspects of interior architecture of passenger ships, with reference to some ferry ships as well as large liners, and some of guiding principles which govern design decisions respecting them; objectives are discussed with reference to lounges, libraries, dining rooms, cabins, etc, and factors of details such as hand grips, chinaware and chairs are noted; 13 photographs show different views in France, Canberra, Oriana, Caledonian Princess, Transvaal Castle, and Carmania.
