Report on practical test given to small group of graduate trainees at National Engineering Laboratory, East Kilbride, Scotland; limited both in time and permissible expenditure, they had to find solution to clearance of snow from footpaths of laboratory; they decided on mechanical methods, and designed and constructed snow plow for which 8.25 bhp Villiers Mk. 28B two-stroke engine is used as prime mover; design and cost data, and photographs are included.
