Effects of weightlessness are discussed, as they were measured and reported by Russian cosmonauts; possibilities of adaptation to space environment by training and mechanisms of compensation and vicarization (adaptive substitution) of analyzers and processes of biological entity are considered; recommendations are made for cosmonaut training for distant and prolonged flights.
