Study was undertaken to determine class of vehicle which could be used as ferry vehicle between near-earth space station and earth; paper examines geometry of ferry ranging problem, that is, lateral ranges required to reach chosen landing sites from various near-earth orbits, and investigates and compares several means of achieving these ranges; case considered is that of returning from space station which is in circular orbit at altitude of 200 statute miles.
