Basic, general information about Saturn V instrument unit is broken down into six major systems -- structural, environmental control, guidance and control; measuring and telemetry, radio frequency, and electrical; systems function together to provide guidance and control during all phases of flight, command and sequencing of vehicle functions, insertion of vehicle into orbit about earth, and injection of S-IV B, instrument unit and spacecraft into lunar trajectory from its earth orbit.
