Operations research analysis conducted for MOLAB (Mobile Lunar Laboratory) concept of lunar roving vehicle is applied to vehicle mission analysis from mobility point of view; method is presented whereby, using predicted spectrum of lunar soil properties in terms of land locomotion soil value system, performance of various vehicle configurations are analyzed; mission success probability may be calculated from standpoint of vehicle immobilization, fuel consumption, torque requirements, inability to climb required slopes, or any other desired parameter.
