Gemini Guidance and Control Systems, with their extensive use of man as mode selector and sensor-operator were established by means of simulation studies ranging from simple electronic devices duplicating display light sequences during launch phase to complex optical-mechanical -analog simulation of docking phase of rendezvous; objectives of studies and equipment used are described.
