Problem of optimizing control of two oversaturated traffic intersections is solved by using semigraphical methods; optimum control involves values of control variables that lie along edges of control region, which in case is defined by permissible ranges of green phase splits; analytical formulation of method using Pontryagin's control theory is also given.
