Aerodynamic aspects of engine air intake for Anglo-French Concorde aircraft; mounted under wing of Concorde, inlet is divided to provide independent supplies of air to pair of engines, specific arrangement that introduces particular problems in allowing for wing flow-field and avoiding interaction between twin inlets; factors considered in choice of compression system and intake geometry; aerodynamic and other development tests required to make appropriate decisions are described showing suitability of basic geometry in association with other components of propulsion system for SST operation.
