"Exact" formulas for viscous drag of submerged bodies of revolution and ship forms are derived and applied to evaluate errors; all 3 give adequate accuracy at distances of at least 2 1/2 wake thicknesses behind body, and Betz-Tulin formula is intermediate in accuracy among 3 viscous-drag formulas.
