Paper presents results of fleet test conducted by Cities Service Research and Development Co designed to evaluate low temperature dispersion of series of oils under stop-and-go taxicab type operation; results obtained in New York City taxicab test are compared with laboratory test experience; field performance data indicate that positive crankcase ventilation systems can be beneficial if well maintained, or harmful if they are neglected.
