Purpose of report is to consider mechanical characteristics of reinforced phenol-formaldehyde resin related to use of such product as aircraft material; data and graphs which have appeared in literature on this subject reproduced in survey as needed to illustrate comparative behavior of plastics commonly employed in such construction.
