59 Leyland Cab buses ordered as result of tests with experimental vehicle; engine, standard Leyland 6-cyl Diesel, is situated longitudinally at rear, and forms unit with worm drive casing and gearbox; arrangement is such that engine may be removed separately, or whole mechanical unit withdrawn from frame through rear of bus; general arrangement shown in diagram.
