Vessel built by Odense Steel Ship Yard; length b.p. 435 ft., 9350 tons deadweight capacity; draft 26 ft. 5 1/4 in.; equipped with two 6-cylinder, single-acting, 4-stroke cycle, directly reversible Diesel engines of Burmeister and Wain's latest standard crosshead type; develops 4400 b.hp. at service speed 13.75 knots; cylinders are 630 mm. in diam. by 1300 mm. stroke.
