Truck capable of transporting 100 tons without assistance of tractors; arrangement is made for lifting driving wheels of motor unit clear from ground; complete articulated truck has 14 wheels; engine is overhead valve type, bore and stroke of 5 in. and 5 1/2 in. respectively; mounted on 3-point suspended subframe, which also carries gear-box, engine transmits power through cone clutch and single fabric disks coupling through 4-speed gear box identical with that used on Scammell 8-wheeler.
