No-Nox in service six months demonstrates Diesel dependability operating on coast and in New York Harbor; 209 ft. 2 in. length o.a., 39 ft. beam, and 14 ft. 9 in. depth; carries 10,500 bbl. of gasoline and light oil; two 6-cylinder 12-in. by 17-in. airless-injection Standard Diesel direct reversible engines drive tanker 9 to 9 1/2 knots; engines deliver 330 s.hp. at 300 r.p.m. and each weighs about 19 tons; generators are Westinghouse driven by 4-cylinder, 4-cycle airless-injection 6-in. by 8-in. Standard Diesel of A E type rated about 60 hp.
