During past twelve months, Commission, composed of technical, financial, and commercial experts, has been exploring desert, and has covered in aggregate 19,000 mi.; Commission rejects proposed lines from Constantine and Algiers and recommends route from Oran, which appears to remove most of economical objections to Trans-Saharan Railway and to cost much less, both in time and money, than the two other schemes.
