Motor tug, Irande, of Thames Steam Tug and Lighterage Co., is 77 ft. 6 in. b.p. in length and 19 ft. 6 in. in breadth and 10 ft. 4 1/2 in. depth with maximum draft of 9 ft.; equipped with engine of Carels-Ingersoll-Rand type which is 4-stroke single acting trunk-piston type having six cylinders with diameter of 355 mm. and stroke of 485 mm.; normally rated at 400 b.hp. when running at 265 r.p.m. (See also Brit.
