Newtonian flow theory for conical flow field is applied to estimate thickness effect on force of slender delta wings at moderate angle of attack; assuming shock shape in cross plane perpendicular to wings, pressure coefficient for wings with either diamond or lens-type cross section is obtained; comparison with other theoretical and experimental work is made; it is concluded that thickness of wing diminishes normal force for smaller values of parameter Omega but increases it for larger values where Omega is similarity parameter introduced by A.F.Messiter.
