To provide data needed for water bombing of forest fires and aerial agricultural spraying, equations are developed for motion of droplets and used to compute trajectories of individual water droplets in stationary vertical air jet that impinges on ground from large heights; simplified water droplet trajectories from aircraft, with respect to ground and to aircraft, are also calculated; curves of droplet lifetime, corresponding falling distances and percentage evaporation in 100-ft fall are calculated as function of droplet size, relative humidity and temperature.
