Study develops accurate and easily calculated results from method of analysis perfected by author; its accuracy is enhanced by analyzing flight test results obtained from Breguet 941, deflected slipstream S TOL aircraft; method solves problem of calculating transitional velocities, of climb, takeoff, and landing distances with highly deflected flaps; mathematical calculations and charts illustrate results of computations and comparison with flight test data; interesting aspect of Breguet 941 is very high static thrust of 18,000 lb developed by four propellers.
