Corporation top management and their board of directors progressed from relatively low cost, war surplus aircraft for corporate travel, into costly, high performance, turbine powered airplanes during past 5 yr; introduction of turboprop and turbojet aircraft for business flying and problems involved such as pilot training, checkout, and pilot and maintenance ground school; it is concluded that actual flying of jet aircraft proved to be easier and safer than had been anticipated by pilots and managers.
