Measurements were made of movements at connections of 310 ft railroad bridge over period of 3 1/2 yr; study was initiated during shop-assembly of truss and was ended after 3 yr of service loadings; substantial relative movements of bridge joints occurred during erection with addition of dead load, bracing, and floor systems; effects of measured movements on changes in camber are discussed and compared with level readings taken during 3 yr of traffic.
